I’ve always been obsessed with UI design and making websites look incredible on every screen, especially mobile. But I got really tired of how flat and repetitive modern web design has become. Almost every landing page uses the same static templates and heavy, battery-draining video loops that you can't even interact with. I wanted to build something that feels modern, tactile, and genuinely alive.

So I built VELUM which is a real-time liquid physics and 3D material engine powered by custom WebGL shaders. Instead of a pre-rendered video, the background is a living, responsive surface that ripples, reflects light, and reacts to your cursor or phone swipe with zero lag at 60 FPS.

I combined complex 3D math with my love for clean, responsive UI: high-contrast typography that stays readable over moving waves, a mobile-first floating header, and five interactive material presets from glowing Quantum Wireframes to liquid chrome. For me, VELUM is proof that 3D design on the web can be lightweight, responsive, and fun to touch.
