Why am I building this?

The novel coronavirus is rapidly spreading from human to human and surface objects (microorganism) to humans. In humans, there is a high probability of infection from the surface (object virus) to humans. Which is why our healthcare workers are getting infected. To prevent this spreading chain, we have to disinfect all the infected areas around us. That area is prone to any type of bacteria or viruses. So that our medical service provider can stay safe and do their work.

When we realize this big problem, an idea has come up that we have to make a disinfection robot and that could disinfect all the areas through it. There are two ways to disinfect the surface, one is a chemical process and the other is UVC light. We are building a robot that can disinfect hospitals, colleges, public transport, etc. through UV light. The name of this robot is VEER || UV robot. According to the WHO, we can avoid this epidemic if we break the chain of transmission of corona from one to the other. Through advanced technology, Veer is able to break this chain quickly.

How it Works?

It works in two ways, first it makes use of UVC to kill the germ, Bacteria, and Viruses. UltraViolet Light

Ultraviolet (UV) light is a component of the electromagnetic spectrum that falls in the region between visible light and X-Rays. This invisible radiation consists of a wavelength range of 100 nm to 400 nm. UV light can be divided and labeled into four different areas:

100 nm to 200 nm Far UV or Vacuum UV - These wavelengths only propagate in a vacuum 200 nm to 280 nm UVC - Useful for disinfection and sensing 280 nm to 315 nm UVB - useful for curing, tanning and medical applications

315 nm to 400 nm UVA or near UV - useful for printing, curing, lithography, sensing and medical applications.

AI-enabled thermal camera for body temperature measurement and screening system

It is capable of long-distance, and quickly screening. The temperature measurement accuracy is ≤0.3℃. It works in real-time thermal imaging, multi-target automatic temperature measurement. It supports automatic calibration of body and surface temperature to make temp measurement more accurate. Simultaneous temperature display of visible and infrared thermal imaging.

PIR (Passive IR Sensor) is made of a pyroelectric sensor, which is able to detect different levels of infrared radiation. For example, Everything emits varied level radiation and the level of radiation will increase with the increase of the object’s temperature. The range of PIR Sensor: Indoor PIR: Detection distance range from 25 centimeters to 20 meters. Outdoor PIR: Detection distance range from 10 meters to 150 meters.
