VEDUCATO: Making Educational Videos Smarter

The Idea

We love those cool math videos by 3Blue1Brown and wanted to make it easier for teachers to create similar content. So we built VEDUCATO, a tool that uses AI to help make engaging educational videos.

What We Learned

Building VEDUCATO taught us a lot:

• How to train AI to understand math and create animations
• The ins and outs of making good-looking math videos
• How to make complex tech user-friendly for teachers

How We Made It

We combined a few key technologies:

• We improved an AI called Mistral Large to understand math concepts
• We used animation software similar to what 3Blue1Brown uses
• We built a website where teachers can easily use our tool

Challenges We Faced

It wasn't always smooth sailing:

• Teaching AI to create accurate math animations was tricky
• Making sure the animations run smoothly on a website took some work
• Designing the website so it's easy for all teachers to use, regardless of their tech skills

What's Next

We're excited about VEDUCATO's future:

• We want to cover more subjects beyond just math
• We're thinking about ways for teachers to work together on videos
• We might explore using virtual reality for even cooler learning experiences
