Inspiration
What it does
How we built it
We set out to build a real, engineer‑grade 3D IDE instead of a toy demo. The inspiration came from how slow it is to go from idea → measurable geometry in most CAD tools, and how hard it is for non‑specialists to use them. Our goal was to combine a clean, minimal CAD‑style UI with AI that understands dimensions, positions, and constraints.
How we built it: We created a browser‑based 3D editor with orbit controls, parametric primitives, measurement tools (distance, radius, volume, area), assemblies/groups, and layers. The AI pipeline uses Gemini to parse natural language into a strict JSON command schema, and then applies those commands directly to the scene (e.g., “100×50×10 cube at x=2, y=0, z=4”).
