Vecto project presents a Strategic Business Plan. It outlines a forward-looking approach to capitalize on market opportunities, teach people to self-administration and foster innovation. By focusing on key strategic initiatives, we aim to allow users to seize their opportunities, thus positioning Vecto as a leader in the industry. We seek to foster a culture of savings by educating individuals on effective money management through the achievement of specific objectives and goals, supplemented by an optimal action plan. The latter through the publication of apps and interactive platforms that could help users learn money-managing skills through day-to-day tasks.

The project: Travel Assisted Planner (TAP); is a budget generator travel planner assisted by Gen AI to obtain current market rates and offers for each city one chooses. With just a few TAPs, a user could see their current balance and the projected savings plan in a matter of minutes! TAP your worries away researching how much money should you save. With VECTO, instead worry of which city you would love to visit.

How we built it

The Nessi API helped us connect Capital One to our app so their clients could use our app for free. Through MongoDB and Defang we created an accesible and secure database with user information and transactions. Through the use of AI, TAP investigates current market prices in an instant. We used Flutter to make the app for users to use on a daily basis to keep track of their progress.

Some challenges we faced were the implementation of libraries and connection to APIs. On the other hand, we are proud of how we were able to merge the Nessi API with a MongoDataBase to hold the user and transaction data.

Through this project we learned how to program under pressure and to better plan ahead of time.

For the future, we want to join other companies to grow further and reach more people; and create more learning platforms so users could stay up-to date with financial trends.

The API is stored in a different repository under the following link: https://github.com/bisrqe/Subscript-Api
