About the Project

As the founder of an AI company, I've built hundreds of chatbots for clients across industries. While doing this, I worked extensively with automation tools like n8n, Zapier, and AI agent platforms like Vapi. Through this hands-on experience, I noticed a common problem:

Most platforms are overly complex for new users.

They often require too many steps, lack an intuitive interface, and make it hard for non-technical users to build real AI workflows. On top of that, many so-called “AI chatbots” either hallucinate responses or aren’t even powered by real LLMs—they’re just rule-based bots with a shiny UI.

That’s what inspired me to build Vebchat — a no-code AI agent builder with a focus on simplicity and true AI integration.

The entire SaaS platform was built using Bolt, with me acting as the Product Manager, driving the vision and design. Bolt, my senior developer, brought it to life through exceptional engineering.

What I Learned

  • Users want results, not configuration headaches.
  • The right collaboration (product vision + technical execution) can move mountains.

Challenges

  • Balancing power and simplicity in the UI
  • Handling LLM reliability and reducing hallucinations
  • Building a truly modular system that works for both non-coders and developers

Vebchat is the result of experience, frustration, and the drive to build something better.
