Inspiration

Founders waste time pitching VCs who aren’t the right fit. Investors get overloaded with irrelevant ideas. We wanted a simple AI tool that instantly connects founders to the right investors.

What it does

VCConnect matches startups with suitable VCs, gives pitch feedback, generates warm intro emails, calculates funding probability, and shows a live startup feed.

How we built it

We used React + Tailwind for the UI, Base44 serverless functions for backend logic, structured AI prompts for matching and analysis, and seeded VC + feed datasets for realistic output.

Challenges we ran into

Designing a fair match score, wiring all endpoints cleanly, building a smooth UI flow, and ensuring each button returned predictable structured results.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

A working full-stack AI platform with matchmaking, pitch review, intro emails, funding scoring, admin tools, and a public feed—all in a single guided experience.

What we learned

How to structure AI prompts, build stable serverless endpoints, design clean UX around AI outputs, and convert investor logic into simple scoring models.
