As someone working closely with the clothing and garment industry, I noticed that small retail shops struggle to manage customer inquiries on WhatsApp while simultaneously keeping track of their inventory and billing. We wanted to build an AI assistant that behaves exactly like an expert shop employee, automating sales and bringing small businesses into the AI era.

What it does

VastraAI is an AI-native store agent that:

• Acts as a smart WhatsApp chatbot to talk to customers, showcase clothes, and understand fashion preferences.
• Manages inventory in real-time, matching stock availability with client demands.
• Simplifies automated billing links for quick transactions.

How we built it

We integrated Google's Gemini 1.5 Flash API to handle natural language conversations and garment image understanding. The backend logic is built on Python, and we plan to use Google Cloud Firestore for tracking stock levels and customer database systems.
