Varzishh was built around a simple observation: working out at home should not require having the perfect home gym, the perfect schedule, or the knowledge of a personal trainer. Most fitness apps provide fixed workout plans and expect users to adapt themselves to those plans. We wanted to reverse that relationship.
With Varzishh, the workout adapts to the person.
Our goal was to provide a customised training experience where exercises are tailored to the user's area, equipment, fitness level, goals, and weekly schedule. Varzishh assists in designing a workout that is feasible for everybody, regardless of whether they have a complete home gym, a set of dumbbells, or no equipment at all.
From individualised onboarding and weekly plan creation to guided exercises, unique routines, progress metrics, streaks, and accomplishments, we built the experience around a straightforward route.
The most difficult thing we had to do was strike a balance between simplicity and personalisation. A exercise can be influenced by a variety of things, but asking consumers too many questions leads to friction. We discovered how to gradually gather data, offer reasonable defaults, and make advanced customisation optional.
