Inspiration
We discussed the idea of no-loss lotteries and thought it was such a great idea & alternative to traditional gambling. We then realized it could be spun into a great incentive to encourage people to save and use their money productively.
What it does
VarietySavings is a crypto native savings account that allows users & DAOs to automate their exposure to various yield strategies depending on their risk appetite. All account holders are eligible for periodic, free, exclusive, and fairly distributed airdrops via participation in the VarietySavingsDAO; where they can vote on the selection of airdrop tokens.
How we built it
We first built the BentoBox contract interface using a template, then developed our own custom functionality. Next we built the SavingsDao contract and lastly built the interface between functions & included the chainlink VRF

What we learned
We learned how to write smart contracts, develop contract to contract interactions, deployments, reading and writing contracts and so much more.
What's next for Variety Savings
We plan to make improvements to the contract over the next few months and deploy on Polygon & Fantom mainnet.
