Vapo

Inspiration

We were inspired by the global epidemic that is vaping.

What it does

An online social media platform, which group individuals into various social support groups based on their goals for how long they want to quit

How we built it

React.js and Tailwind on the frontend, with Python and flask for the backend

Challenges we ran into

Connecting the backend and frontend together brought about a lot of challenges

Accomplishments that we're proud of

To be able to have the project to the extent that we were able to do it, and fight off many sleepy moments

What we learned

We found that there were many areas in which we could have been more efficient in coding, including team coding, as well as better ways to test our backend endpoints with out frontend

What's next for Vapo

Expansion of functionality, improve design, and add scalability.
