Inspiration

Ever since I was young, I have seen countless pieces of trash and waste on the ground, or in the ocean, being littered everyday, and so i wanted to put a stop to it. This app focuses on the harms that can come from waste, and how if we work together, we can make a big impact on the Earth for the better. This app is focusing on helping people, and rethink their actions, and I believe it applies to everyone, so who ever can access this app can be part of this journey to making the Earth cleaner again!

What it does

Basically, it is an informational app, so it talks about what are the different types of wastes, how it is harming the environment, and we humans can do to prevent this kinds of things from expanding.

How we built it

I built it using Swift on Xcode.

Challenges we ran into

The challenges I ran into were small bugs here and there, but I was quickly able to solve them.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am proud of making this app a reality, because I want to share this app to everyone, so more and more people are knowledgable about this topic.

What we learned

I learned how to quickly get past any bugs or problems that we stopping me from moving on, and also more about this topic.

What's next for VanishTheWaste

I will probably expand the information on the app, and also make it user interactive more.
