Vampire | Elite School, Forbidden Love

Inspiration

This project started as a mash-up of two things we love: classic vampire romance and elite-school dramas with strict rules and hidden hierarchies.

What it does

Vampire | Elite School, Forbidden Love is a vertical AI-assisted drama about a half-vampire girl in an elite academy who falls for a human classmate.

How we built it

We started with the logline and a simple rulebook for this world: who knows about vampires, what’s forbidden, what happens if the rules break. From there we outlined core beats: first encounter, suspicion, rivalry, and the moment where getting closer becomes a risk.

For visuals and lookdev we used AI image models (OpenAI, FLUX, FluxK, Qwen, Dreamina, SDream, SEdit, Imagen, Ideogram, Hidream, Fashion, Banana) plus curated references for uniforms, academy interiors and night scenes. We generated and refined moving shots with tools like KLING, VEO, WAN, LTX Studio, Higgsfield, Hailuo-2, Luma, Pixverse, Q1-Ref, Aleph and Runway. Editing and pacing were done in CapCut, with Topaz Upscale for cleanup and AI-based voices/SFX (ElevenLabs, ThinkSound, MiniMax TTS) to support the romantic–dangerous tone.

Challenges we ran into

Keeping the main couple visually consistent across different AI models.
Balancing romance and danger in a 9:16 frame so the scenes feel intimate on a phone but still dramatic.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We defined a clear emotional arc for a forbidden relationship and translated it into a set of vertical scenes that feel cohesive.
We shaped a visual language for “almost losing control” — eyes, posture, light shifts — that supports the tension between hunger and restraint.
We also turned a complex AI stack into a repeatable workflow for supernatural romance stories.

What we learned

We learned that in this genre, rules matter as much as feelings: the audience needs to understand exactly what’s at risk when the characters get closer.
We saw how important close-ups and micro-expressions are for vertical romance, and how AI tools can support that when guided with precise, shot-level prompts.

What's next for Vampire | Elite School, Forbidden Love

Next, we plan to expand the project into a sequence of short episodes that follow key “line-crossing” moments between the two leads.
We want to test different edits that lean more into romance or into suspense.
