What it does

Wecreate Valuexplorer, a fully-responsive web-app that enables users to explore open-government data through queries, visualizations, and text. Our app offers two sets of functionalities: The first one allows an user to enter a question related to a certain data(set), and get a speedy response in return. We are able to provide human-like answers to various queries by leveraging valuenet's SOTA Natural language to SQL system. To refine a user's search we incorporate additional knowlege such as topics the user might be interested in, to give a result.
We also provide a way to autogenerate questions for people who might be confused on what kind of questions they can ask.

Secondly, our app features a dashboard that allows curious users to learn more about the datasets. Users can choose from a rich set of visualizations that help them understand the underlying relationships between different variables. As each dataset is dynamically loaded, users can shortlist the features they really care about instead of worrying about viewing all the features of their data. Our app also allows the user to view a subset of raw data via an interactive table, that can be ordered in an ascending or descending fashion. Visualizing has never been more easy!
