Inspiration

Our community has got many resources but poor residence thus its time to make the best of what we have to reduce poverty and hunger.

What it does

Provides ready to implement business profile created by analysis of local resources and computation of supporting data.

How I built it

I collected businesses data from investment websites to create profiles and housed it in a web applications developed using django and implemented machine learning algorithms for recommendations using python.

Challenges I ran into

Collecting data for profiles generation.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of

The system is deployed running and still building it. I did not procrastinate.

What I learned

Once you decide to achieve something for your people, Nothing can stop you.

What's next for Value Addition Portal

Building the knowledge base and recommendations and scaling it for the whole of Africa.
