Valorant VCT Match Predictor

Inspiration

We were inspired to make this to see how our favorite Valorant teams would match up each other based on their different stats and how good they are at certain maps.

What it does

It scrapes data off of a Valorant stat tracker and uses it to see which team has a larger number of total stats.

How we built it

We built it in python, starting with the scraper, then moving on to actually interpreting the data.

Challenges we ran into

We had issues connecting the website with the actual python code, as well as getting the program to interpret the data correctly.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We are proud of the data scraper that we made and the formatting that we did on the website

What we learned

We learned how to scrape data, build websites, and backend/frontend code with python.

What's next for Valorant VCT Match Predictor

We plan to make this project more complex in the future, factoring in what agent the player is playing and results from more than one competition.
