Inspiration

When one of our members moved into the valley their parents had to decide what crops to plant on their land and this website could have helped them.

What it does

This website helps new farmers in the central valley make informed decisions on what crops to plant and when depending on their circumstances.

How we built it

This website was built with HTML and a bit of CSS and JavaScript. Each team member was given a part to work on and at the end we combine it all into one website.

Challenges we ran into

We found the quiz page the hardest to do and struggled to get all the JavaScript working on it.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

The quiz section was one of the coolest and most helpful parts of the website and it being hard to build made it feel even better once it was complete.

What we learned

we all learned a lot about different crops as well as much more JavaScript than before. we also learned more creative things to do with CSS.

What's next for Valley Grow

Vally Grow could be updated to have a live weather forecast as well as any weather alerts. the quiz could also add more questions to make it even more accurate then it is now.
