Inspiration

Inspired by emerging technologies set to revolutionize the global financial system and its institutions, DAppy laid the ground for future innovations in Decentralized Finance (DeFi).

What it does

DAppy is built with the aim to offer interesting potential to reduce costs and increase speed in payments by eliminating friction in terms of technology, contracting and the coordination between multiple parties. Currently, DAppy provides a decentralized platform for others to transfer Ether over network.

Challenges we ran into

As this is a project done by one person within the 24hrs time limit, the challenges I faced is insurmountable. This is also my first time learning Solidity programming language in-depth and getting my hands dirty with building a decentralized application. I had to learn lots of new concepts, technologies, tools, and frameworks in a very short period of time.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Through this project, I have gained practical experience in writing smart contracts in the Solidity programming language, understood the importance of testing comprehensively before deploying smart contracts to the development blockchain due to its immutability nature. While researching on DeFi, I am also more aware of the technological impact of blockchain in the financial industry.

What's next for DAppy

A DEX Aggregator that cares about customer satisfaction while using the platform by offering customer support, a sandbox environment for beginner traders to learn technical trading knowledge and level up their financial literacy.
