Thanks for seeing our website! We hope that after this little project, we can further continue to make getting vaccinated more common,!

Inspiration

COVID vaccines are getting around to a great population around us, so we wanted to find away to make it easier for citizen's of counties nearby to have information of where they can get vaccinated, so that COVID pandemic can finally improve and everyone can vaccinate and be safe!

What it does

It gives you information that is simple to get through in order to get informed on how you can get vaccinated nearby and how many doses are available in that area.

How we built it

We used basic programming we learned in order to make getting vaccinated more simple and achievable for citizens all around the counties nearby us.

Challenges we ran into

Just basic SyntaxErrors and problems with our buttons not working occurred along the way. Our formatting also did not come as easily as we hoped, and challenges came along making the website simple yet effective the way we had in our minds

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Just kind of finishing a website about information we are passionate about, and getting through our challenges along the way. It was a long day but we're proud of what we're submitting. Mainly, we stepped outside our comfort zones and I think that the 4 of us all learned something new today which will help us in our coding careers in the future!

What we learned

We put our learning together and worked a team to make a table which was new and most of us haven't done! That was cool because working as a team greatened our knowledge and made our end result much better that we would have put out as individuals

What's next for Vaccine Finder

Well, we can add more counties in the drop box, add more hospitals or vaccine centers, and just have more accurate information. We do believe that Vaccine Finder can take us far, and our fellow citizens that wish to get vaccinated. We want to make not just nearby counties, but the entire world significantly, COVID FREE :)

I helped by doing most of the java script for our team, and I individually ruled a backup interface for my team. I also came up with lots of presentation ideas for the video.

I used the style.css part and with that I created the format. as well as the simplicity of the website which makes it easy for the user to get through. I also contributed to the java script part a lot, specifically the code in which you press the county and it tells you the info regarding vaccine centers and doses available, which was new and a challenge for me since I've been doing html more.
