Inspiration

We were inspired by the rapid development and growth of both Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, and we quickly realized the vast potential of merging the two. Web 2.0's rich features and Web 3.0's secure decentralization were being developed in isolation, so we envisioned a bridge that could seamlessly connect these two worlds.

What it does

v8s is a revolutionary solution that combines Web 2.0 and Web 3.0, allowing for seamless interaction and integration of technologies from both domains. This creates an environment where AI and databases from Web 2.0 can interact with De-Fi and NFTs from Web 3.0, essentially reshaping the landscape of digital services.

How we built it

We've constructed v8s using a network of nodes running deterministic JavaScript code, which is triggered by transactions. The execution results are then uploaded to the blockchain.

The system architecture consists of four key components: the blockchain, smart contracts, bots, and virtual machines (v8), enabling integration and interoperability between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0.

Challenges we ran into

One of the primary challenges we faced was ensuring the system maintained the integrity of web3 decentralization while executing web2 logic. It required careful planning, development, and rigorous testing to achieve this balance. To address this, in the near future, we plan to employ the RAFT consensus algorithm; a key component for ensuring system decentralization while running deterministic JavaScript code.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We've managed to create a system that not only bridges the gap between Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 but also maintains the core principles of each, resulting in a seamless, efficient and secure ecosystem. We are also proud of the development of our multi-chain functionality, allowing for increased versatility and scope.
