Inspiration## Inspiration

We wanted to build a personal AI assistant that makes everyday life easier by helping people organize tasks and manage daily activities through a simple, voice-enabled interface.

What it does

EchoMind AI — LifeSync Intelligence is an AI-powered personal assistant designed to help users manage tasks, check pending activities, and interact with the application using voice and text. It provides a simple interface for organizing everyday responsibilities.

How we built it

We built the frontend using React, TypeScript, and Vite, with a Python FastAPI backend and SQLite for persistent task data. The application connects the user interface to backend endpoints to manage and retrieve tasks.

Challenges we faced

We worked on connecting the frontend and backend, handling task updates reliably, and making voice interactions work smoothly. We tested task completion and persistence to ensure completed tasks remained completed after refreshing the application.

What's next

We plan to improve the assistant's reliability, expand its capabilities, enhance the user experience, and explore further integrations with voice assistants and AI services.
