Inspiration Non-profits are often bogged down by administrative tasks like managing volunteer onboarding, donor agreements, and compliance documents. These processes are typically time-consuming and disconnected, leaving organizations less time to focus on their mission. Inspired by the need to empower non-profits, we designed V-Net, a platform that uses DocuSign’s powerful APIs to streamline workflows and maximize impact.
What it does V-Net provides a seamless end-to-end solution for non-profits to: Onboard volunteers: Collect consent forms and verify identities. Engage donors: Simplify donation agreements with embedded signing. Track impact: Real-time monitoring of document completion for reporting. It integrates previously siloed data, enabling non-profits to manage everything from forms to feedback in one place.
How we built it DocuSign APIs: Leveraged eSignature, Monitor, and Web Forms APIs for document workflows and tracking. Backend: Python with Flask for handling API calls and managing document processing. Frontend: A responsive, user-friendly interface for seamless interaction with the platform. Database: SQLite for storing metadata and document logs.
Challenges we ran into API Integration: Ensuring smooth integration of multiple DocuSign APIs. File Validation: Implementing aspect ratio and size checks for uploads. Real-time Monitoring: Building a dynamic dashboard for live updates required extensive optimization.
