Growing up, I love cars. I have dozens of model cars and even drew plenty enough of cars for people to often associate cars with me. However, I also grew up learning about the harmful impacts of gasoline powered vehicles. Their carbon dioxide emission is extremely toxic and when emitted into the atmosphere can increase the rate of global warming. This dilemma has always kept me torn as I love cars, but loving them damage our Earth in harmful ways. When electric vehicles first appeared, they were mocked for their slow, inconvenient, and uninspiring flaws. However, electric cars have come along way and ultimately, I became a believer. Electric cars gave me and the car enthusiast hope. That's why my team and I decided to design an electric vehicle named V-Electro for the Hackathon.
