📙 Inspiration

Coda is a powerful tool for businesses and teamwork. With Coda you can make your own SaaS product, which impresses everyone who uses it for different purposes: marketing, business, data analysis, etc. Personally, I spent a lot of time for routines in UX design, composing personas for "same" projects, CJM, User Interview. All this made me think about automating all these processes, and it's finally possible thanks to Coda AI. Coda AI allows me to write a promt for a column just once and use the table for all my projects. Now - NOT to use this template for me has become unprofitable, as it speeds up the whole routine in almost 2 times!

🔨 What we've built?

My template 🗃️ offers automation of work for UX designer and researcher. It offers 5 main functionalities inside: User Persona Analysis, Brainstorming, Competitive Analysis, CJM, User and Customer Interview. All of them somehow automate UX designer tasks.

First of all to start template working - you need to upload information about project you are working on via Form on Work Template, then project Brief will be generated!

👨 User Persona Analysis

Generates you an average persona that use client's product. Only thibg that you need to fill out are user goals and potnetial barriers of current existance products.

🧠 Brainstorming

It helps you generate ideas for your project. It describe idea for you, task that remain to designer is idea. Describe it as much as you can so description will be good also!

📊 Competitor Analysis

Instead of doing it in Miro or in FigJam do it in AutoUX! Paste information about your competitors in table, user per month, revenue, people opinion and get your data visualized and SWOT Table!

🗺️ CJM

Pretty interesting tabel that allows user conduct Customer Journey Map, only thong that designer needs to write - stage of current journey, check template for more details!

🎙️ User Interview

Cool tempalte that provide opportunity to take interviews and you don't need to prepare for it, you will have questions for this interview that will be automatically generated and you could also upload video for this interview, because it is connected to Blossom - very cool pack for Coda, and copying a transcript from their site and pasting it in table, you will get sorted answer for each question!

👨🏾‍💻 Challenges we ran into and What I learned

Necessity for studyinng new things - Coda. To be honest, I heard only once about Coda before this Hackathon and didn't see any differentiators from another doc editors. But since this hackathon has started - it's like oasis for automation with it's Coda AI assistant. I think Coda offers too much free stuff (I like it tho 😀), but for Coda AI assistant I will also pay, if I knew all opportunities that it provides before buying. It's great thing, even greater with coda formulas. I am still confused about how people write like AAA games in FormulaMap(), but knowing conditionals, and thisrow formulas made good impact in my case! I watched all tutorials from Coda YouTube, I think I needed more practise, but not all in these tutorials I needed in this template, was too focused on it!

🎉Accomplishments that we're proud of

I am really proud of my template, as a freelancer that faces a lot of simmilar projects from all around the world multiple times - it saved me 3 hours per week and another designers time also! Thanks my skills and Coda for that, save my time and money!

🔜 What's next for AutoUX? I think there will be new version of it, but i need to clarify some moments in formulas, understand how two-way editing, loops and another things works on 100% and I will show a very good one template, it will be an alternative to deovetail.com and uxtweak.com probablly. Now my template saves 20-40% of my time by conducting a really good CJM, Personas and Interview questions, but I colud go even further and also add Card Sorting and JTBD framework, connect it between each other. One thing I really want to - is to use Coda AI only and their formulas, because it's much comfy to be just in one place, and if i get it once, i could create whatever I want in Coda
