Our team was excited to create something on the cloud, because none of us had any prior experience with it but we were excited to learn. We had all used HTML and CSS in some previous classes but had no idea how to create a web app using server-side technologies like databases and routing.

Fortunately, we were able to watch enough tutorial videos and read enough documentation that we overcame that struggle, and learned a lot in the process.

Here is a description of what we achieved:

-Express web server that serves HTML, CSS, JavaScript and JSON files to the client. -The client uses javascript from the server to quiz the user one question at a time out of a JSON file that contains all the questions. -Javascript calculates score out after the user has finished the quiz, and asks the user to input a username. -User's username and their score is sent to the server using a POST request -Server processes the incoming data, and adds a new entry to a SQL database -The user is then redirected to the scoreboard HTML page where they can see their score, along with any others that have taken the quiz

Technologies Used: -Node.js -Express -MySQL database -HTML -CSS -JavaScript

Some possible future improvements: -Allow users to submit their own quiz questions that will then be added to the quiz JSON file -Allow users to delete their scores from the database -Apply more styling to make it look prettier
