UTD Shuttle Service

We are a group of UTD students who understand the struggle of getting to classes on time and safely. We believe that by using our service we can help make student lives more convenient.

Inspiration

Our inspiration stemmed from the fact that we wanted to make campus safer by having a service that provides students with a safer way to travel within and outside campus through our personal experiences at UTD.

What it does

Our service has self-reantable golf carts on campus to get from place to place on campus and abuse shuttle to travel around nearby amenities close to campus. All a person will need is a comet card to scan and use our service.

How we built it

We used HTML/CSS to build our frontend and also combined it with JavaScript scripts for added functionality.

Challenges we ran into

One challenge that we had was figuring out how to get the google Maps API for our shuttle map. Another thing was getting calendar on our website and adjust the dates automatically instead of manually monitored by the user
