Inspiration

Studying for college exams is hard, mmkayy.

What it does

Helps provide study aid by playing music, setting timers, and connecting study buddies together.

How we built it

We used a website builder along with custom javascript code.

Challenges we ran into

Lots. We came unprepared but eager to code. We changed our platform from an app to a website, and lost a lot of time because of this.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We didn't die from sleep deprivation. Other accomplishments: the custom phoenix logo, aws service, and overall hosting setup (interesting to solve those problems.)

What we learned

It is better to come to a hackathon with at least an idea of a project or previous programming knowledge; having neither complicates things.

What's next for Ustudy

We plan on developing an app based on the website prototype and allow students to connect with others to collaboratively study and meet new people.
