Inspiration: We started with a simple question: What if technology could feel more human in healthcare?

Too often, digital systems feel cold, rigid, or even burdensome to the people who use them, especially in healthcare settings where compassion and connection matter most. My inspiration came from listening to real patients and providers who just want tools that support care, not complicate it.

What it does: This project is about bringing care and connection closer, using technology that enhances, not replaces, the human touch.

It offers: A simple, supportive interface for patients to manage their care, track medications, and communicate with providers. A clinician dashboard that gently surfaces important updates and helps prioritize care, not just data. Secure, respectful data sharing that works behind the scenes so patients feel safe and professionals stay informed. Basic AI support, not to take over, but to offer a second pair of eyes when it’s needed most.

How I built it: Built with modern tools like React, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, and FHIR APIs, the system combines secure infrastructure with a clean, accessible user interface and light AI support.

Challenges I ran into: Major challenges included making complex health data feel simple, ensuring privacy and compliance, and keeping the experience warm and human-centered.

Accomplishments that I'm proud of: Successfully created a tool that felt genuinely helpful to a healthcare professional, with real-world data integration and a focus on empathy-driven design.

What I learned: I learned the importance of listening to users, handling sensitive data with care, and prioritizing simplicity, trust, and emotional impact in design.

What's next for using technology for improvement: Plans include testing with real users, expanding to underserved communities, adding multilingual support, and evolving the platform through collaboration and continuous learning.

I designed and built a healthcare tool that puts people first. From listening to real patients and clinicians to writing the code that powers the platform, I focused on making technology feel simple, safe, and supportive. I brought together clean design, secure systems, and just enough AI to help not overwhelm those providing or receiving care. Every decision was rooted in one goal: to make digital health feel more human.
