Inspiration
Traditional lucky draws often require manual management and make it difficult to control prize distribution. I wanted to create a simple QR-code-based lottery system that makes event participation easier and prize management more reliable.
What It Does
QR Lucky Draw is a web-based lottery system designed for events and promotional campaigns.
Its core features include:
- QR-code access to the lottery.
- One lottery entry per phone number per event.
- Preset prizes for selected phone numbers.
- Automatic prize allocation for regular participants.
- Fixed prize distribution across rounds of 50 winners.
- Automatic transition to the next round.
- Persistent results when participants scan the QR code again.
Each regular round contains 1 first prize, 5 second prizes, 15 third prizes, and 29 lucky prizes.
Preset winners are handled separately and do not consume regular prize slots.
How We Are Building It
The project began with defining the lottery rules, participant experience, and administrative requirements.
The interface was designed using OpenDesign, and the implementation process has been initiated through Codex.
The next development stage focuses on implementing the lottery logic, testing prize allocation, and validating the complete user experience.
Challenges
The main technical challenges are preventing duplicate participation, maintaining accurate prize allocation, and ensuring consistent results across multiple lottery rounds.
What We Learned
The design process highlighted the importance of separating business rules from visual interfaces and validating critical lottery logic before deployment.
Development and testing are ongoing. The final submission will document the actual Kiro development workflow and verified implementation results.
