What it does

Allows users to upload pictures of hazards around the city and pinpoints the location on maps for all users to see. Hazards can be weather based or infrastructure.

How we built it

We built it through heavy use of cursor and grok

Challenges we ran into

Implementing a switch for Gemini and Grok to replace each other. The early notification system for people with accessibility issues and for people who live in basement level apartments and such.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Having a working demo with a working photon messaging system

What we learned

Cursor can't save you there's so much that had to be done and a ton of our problems was just iterations of past updates we didn't test beforehand causing our features to crash.

What's next for UrbanPulse

Maybe building one for the city of Boston
