Inspiration

Finding parking in Indian cities has become a daily struggle. We saw people wasting 15–30 minutes every day circling the same streets, burning fuel and patience, while thousands of private parking spots in homes, apartments, and offices sit unused. This gap inspired us to build UrbanFlow — a platform that connects drivers who need parking with property owners who have spare space.

What it does

UrbanFlow helps users:

Find real-time available parking spots near their destination Book instantly or reserve in advance List their unused parking spaces and earn money Get secure, verified bookings with streamlined payments It creates a win-win ecosystem where drivers save time, and hosts earn passive income.

How we built it

We built UrbanFlow using: Base44 for fast, AI-driven app development and UI design n8n workflows for automation (notifications, bookings, payments, status updates) Firebase for database and real-time updates Map integration for location-based spot discovery Owner & driver dashboards for managing bookings, availability, and revenue The combination of Base44 + n8n allowed us to build features rapidly and automate all background tasks like booking confirmation, payment flow, and updates.

Challenges we ran into

Real-time availability: Syncing spot availability between drivers and hosts without conflicts Webhook + automation integration: Connecting Base44 actions with n8n workflows seamlessly Map accuracy: Ensuring accurate pin drop and route assistance for different devices Data structure planning: Designing entities that work for both drivers and hosts Time constraints: Building a scalable system within the limited hackathon period
