Inspiration: Stardew Valley. The farming parts of the game are enjoyable for us. In addition to that, we wish to make it friendly toward the environment. We did some study into different ways that water bottles may be used to transform our house into a sustainable garden suitable for the limited space of ann urban household
What it does: The game guides players through the process of creating a variety of do-it-yourself gardening projects using recycled materials in an urban environment. We would like it to be fun as well as instructive for people of all ages.
How we built it
The primary game-play mechanic is point-and-click, and Unity serves as the game's engine. In order to speed up the procedure, we have downloaded and utilized certain example frameworks that were available online. Each of the assets is a PNG file that was drawn by hand by a member of our team.
Challenges we ran into
Although there are frameworks of the game online, we needed to add additional codes to implement our unique features. We were up all night working on this, and it took us between two and three hours to debug the game.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The assets of our game are 100% hand drawn in the span of 2 days.
What we learned
Making game is hard and it required great teamwork to be even feasible
What's next for Untitled
Next year, we will add more features to the current beta version, such as smoother animation, custom sound effect, better currency system, tweaking and optimizing our game-play to provide players with the best experience possible. These additions will be made in order to provide players with the best possible experience.
