Inspiration

• What inspired us to build this project is the constant financial problems young adults face. We wanted to build something that made it easy for anyone to quickly make better financial decisions.

What it does

• UPS & DOWNS is a personal finance web application meant to help with making trading decisions.

How we built it

• We built this using the MEVN stack with a mix of Python for building the prediction AI models.

Challenges we ran into

• Fatigue
• Merge Conflicts
• Finetuning the AI model
• CSS issues on the frontend
• Graphing using apex-charts
• MongoDB cluster freezing
