Inspiration
I really liked the project, but I thought it was lacking a few things that I could add.
What it does
It compares the location of two places for a certain food. It provides average rating, average price, the weather, some reviews, and a friendly easy-to-read webpage.
How we built it
Using CSS, html, python, and some libraries from python, I was able to create an upgraded program with the capabilities listed above.
Challenges we ran into
For the weather, finding a website URL that could be used as a template was a little difficult as many websites had their own code for certain areas. Formatting in html and css was also difficult as I wasn't very experienced in that field.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Making and implementing all these parts in 2 days.
What we learned
Building programs are difficult and require a lot of dedication. But at the same time, it's really fun and rewarding.
What's next for Upgraded Web Scraper
I may add some more features later just for fun!
