Subreddit Size Guesser

A game where you guess which subreddit has more members.

How to play

The game is about guessing which subreddit has more members between two given subreddits. If player guesses correctly, they advance to the next level. If they guess incorrectly for 3 times, the game is over.

It's pretty self-explanatory. Anyone who understands the English language should be able to play it.

1. Click the "Play Daily Challenge" or "Start Playing" button on the post.

2. In the game, you see two subreddits both shows the name and description; additionally, the upper one displays the number of members, the lower one displays guessing buttons. Click "Smaller" or "Bigger" to guess if the lower one has fewer or more members than the upper one.

3. If you guess correctly, you advance to the next level. If you guess incorrectly for 3 times, the game is over and your rank for this game is displayed.

Inspiration

Have you ever wondered if r/Music or r/Movies has more members? One day, this question popped up in my mind and there comes this game.

There're hundreds thousands of subreddits on Reddit. This games helps subredditors to explore those subreddits while playing the game.

What it does

• Each game has total 21 subreddits. Each level compares two neighboring subreddits - meaning if you guess all correctly, there are total 20 levels.
• The difficulty of the game increases gradually as you progress through the levels.
• User learns about different subreddits while playing the game.

How I built it

• It uses the react template that is provided by Devvit.
