Inspiration
An inevitable part of our everyday lives is taking care of our health but the way we do it can be efficiently optimized. Thinking about the chaos and problems that constantly occur when arranging appointments with doctors, the lack of clear and up-to-date information about what we are required to bring for individual appointments which has been getting even worse since the COVID-19 pandemic and week-by-week changes in restrictions as well as the fact that in these hi-tech era we are still leaving doctor's ambulances with handwritten appointment reminder cards and paper medical records inspired us to create this app.
What it does
We have created healthcare management system that enables synchronization of information between patients and doctors. It provides patients with an overview about upcoming appointments, their medical status and information about doctor's ambulances taking into consideration doctor's specialization. The information about the agreed appointments and medical records is provided by doctors but patients can also ask for an appointment by themselves.
Challenges we ran into
Our app was built in React which was quite a challenge for us because we did not have much experience in that field. Another challenge was to quickly agree upon an effective system of working together as a team.
Accomplishments that we're proud of and what we have learned
We are happy that we have successfully developed the desired app with its main functionalities. We have deepened our knowledge in React and we have learned to coordinate and work together as a team.
