Snap to Map is an all-in-one study companion that uses AI to turn handwritten notes into an interactive and personalized learning system. Just snap a picture of your notes. The app then digitizes them and adds intelligent tools to help with retention, exam preparation, and overall productivity.

Problem

Studying often isn’t efficient because notes are fixed and not fully used. Students spend hours rewriting and summarizing. They also struggle to identify what’s important. Research shows clear gaps in how we record and remember information:

  • Writing speed averages about 20 words per minute, while speech happens at 125 to 150 words per minute. Students miss a lot of information during lectures simply because writing can’t keep up.
  • Reading speed, at about 300 to 400 words per minute, is much faster than writing speed, making notes inefficient to create and review.
  • Human memory fades quickly. Within a week, we forget nearly 75% of new material without active recall and spaced repetition.

Traditional note-taking captures information, but it doesn't help students retain, prioritize, or use it effectively.
