I learned about this competition threw my community. I live near the CDC and lots of my friend's parents work there so I thought this completion would be fun. When writing this story I desiged it so it could easily be used/shared on social media. I wrote my story in a simple clip art style. A butterfly tells the story of COVID-19. My story is very simple and that's what I like about it. Im dyslexic and so I made sure it is very easy to read. One to many times when I was little did I go to read a book and not understand it. I made this book for everyone. My artwork includes people from all backgrounds and life experience so when a kid reads this book they can relate to it. I hope you enjoy my book. I Made this book to help kids understand Coronavirus. The programs I used are Procreate, Photoshop, and phonto. The biggest challenge for me was definitely starting out and figuring out how I wanted to tell the story. I am very proud of the illustrations in the book. From making this book I learned how to create and illustrate a book. In the future, I plan on creating more artwork for my Instagram account. Also please note that when I attached the file It is in backwards order.
