Inspiration

It can be difficult to find university related course material notes for classes.

What it does

Provides an easy way for students to search Iowa State classes and add/get notes for certain courses.

How we built it

Built using React frontend and Springboot/Postgresql backend.

Challenges we ran into

Hosting issues and requests between the frontend/backend.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

Getting a working system accomplished in 24 hours.

What we learned

We've learned how to communicate between the frontend/backend, effectively create a comment system for file types, and work with jwt user authentication.

What's next for UNote

The next logical steps would be to add moderation.
