Inspiration
The inspiration for Cells was to explore the IO capabilities of Worlds.
What it does
Cells invites players to collect food on the same map. Cells will growing larger as they eat. Larger cells can eat smaller cells. Avoid the giant virus.
How we built it
This was build 100% solo using Typescript and some basic sprites in the Worlds desktop editor.
Challenges we ran into
The biggest challenge will be balance, between size of the map, cells, and fun.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
100% soloing my first game.
What we learned
Lots about the Camera API, specifically in Pan mode.
