Thought there should be a new design for a door handle and key turning tool for an indoor retirement home environment.
What it does
Helps reduce discomfort for the elderlies who have arthritis pain in hands and fingers, and have weak muscles. Designed door handle to insert the forearm to push and pull the door with arm muscles and weight. Prevent finger and wrist pain when twisting wrist when opening door, gripping the handle, pushing and pulling the door. Concave design and wide area(5’’ width, 2’’ height, 3.5’’ depth) provides stable arm support. Door can be locked inside with a button. Used widely used locking mechanism to reduce the inconvenience of using new product. Fits a conventional door handle hole. Key Turning Tool Design
- Collapsible metal pins mold around key. 2.Two heads automatically rotate 45 degrees help turning the key painlessly. 3.Avoid pinching motion when using keys. 4.Ergonomic design(concaved), easy to hold by hand 5.Silicone material to prevent hands from slipping easily. 6.Wide button reduces pressure caused on finger joint Key Turning Tool Mechanism 1.3 volt dc motor and 3 volt coin cell battery are used to rotate the bevel gear. 2.The momentary push button constraints degrees of rotation.(just 45 degree is required.) 3.The head each side turn opposite direction by the bevel gear. - so the client able to lock and unlock with a tool. 4.3 volt lithium battery is in the black socket and connected with momentary push button.
