Inspiration: UniWays was inspired by the common struggles students face when navigating large campuses, managing tight schedules, and making it to class on time. We wanted to create a tool that simplifies campus life by combining advanced mapping technology with smart scheduling.

What it does: UniWays helps students efficiently plan their daily routes between classes. By inputting their class schedules, students can view optimized walking routes on a map, get real-time travel estimates, and receive timely notifications to ensure they reach their next class on time.

How we built it: We built UniWays using Next.js for the frontend, leveraging TypeScript for robust code. Tailwind CSS was used to create a responsive and modern UI. Google Maps API was integrated for mapping and route calculation, while state management in React handled user data. Notifications were set up using the browser's native notification API.

Challenges we ran into: too many features and too little time to implement it all also setting up the database and syncing the map.

Accomplishments that we're proud of: The friends we made along of the way

What we learned: how to use google maps api and setup database using prisma
