Univisor is a Student Information System that will anables more easy research and planning of the academic success for students in US universities, and enable Advisors to more easily use all data about classes and opportunities in the university.
We are solving the problem of confusing and time-consuming semester schedules for students and a lack of support from Advisors due to understaffing, with a ratio of 1 to 370 students to advisors at universities in the US. Having a tool that has all the data needed for the student to research all topics about their degree enables giving more time to talk with advisors about what actually matters – “future, opportunities in the university, and academic guidance.”
Our target users are students and advisors, who will have a new set of institutions:
- An interactive calendar grid with information about all classes and sections for the semester at WashU, with the opportunity to use rebalancing of the schedule
- Personal profile and degree requirements check simply from a PDF about Academic progress and information from the official WashU Bulletin
- An Academic Chatbot that will clarify any question about major/minor or courses at WashU
- An interactive 4-year plan creation page that enables you to plan all your studies for a selected major and concentration, satisfying all graduation requirements in time
