Inspiration

The social isolation that some university students may experience, a passion for technology and web development, and a recognition of the need for a platform that can help students connect with peers who share similar interests and academic goals.

What it does

This website makes it easier for college students to connect with one another by allowing them to search by interests, grade level, and major. By connecting with one another and developing relationships based on common academic interests and aspirations, it gives students a platform to do just that. Students can create profiles that detail their academic standing, major, and interests. These profiles can then be used to search for other users. They can start a relationship by exchanging messages with someone they find appealing once they have found them. Through peer connections and the creation of a sense of community within the university, the website aims to increase students' sense of engagement and support.

We ran into lot of challenges as our team didn't have proper experience with web development, but we took several help from online resources helping us overcome our challenge.
