Inspiration
Our families are non-native English speakers and many times we have recipes that are in different languages, so this would help me share my recipes with my grandmother and vice versa.
What it does
It translates a recipe to almost any other language
How we built it
We used a translator package called deep translator and a gui package called pysimplegui to make a gui that takes a file location and outputs the translated text.
Challenges we ran into
It was our first time ever constructing/coding a GUI so there was a lot to learn. The first GUI in the program was from GeeksForGeeks which basically had the purpose we wanted so we used it. But the output GUI we made ourselves.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
Managing to finish the program even with various internet and communication obstacles. This is our second python project ever.

Make the GUI more advanced and add a translate feature on the GUI so the instructions can be in a different language.
