The world is now experiencing a Humanitarian crisis in the wake of major global health crisis that has been put on the agenda of the United Nations. Today, we urgently need to put an end to humanitarian crisis especially after the failed peace-building operation: rape, torture and murder, and their provocation of some countries, in addition to the Impact of global health crisis of Coronavirus (Covid-19), which led to an increase in the number of Coronavirus (Covid-19) deaths which called for the need to develop an initiative to establish a culture of urgent peace and non- violence by promoting the values of citizenship among the world's youth by calling for tolerance and open dialogue between religions and respecting and promoting human rights, for the sake of preserving humanity and to treat these problems.
We cannot hope for sustainable development without peace, human rights and effective governance based on the role of law. Yet our world is increasingly divided. Some religions enjoy peace, security and prosperity while others fall into seemingly endless cycles of conflict and violence. This is not inevitable and most be addressed.
Armed violence and insecurity have a destructive impact on a country's development, affecting economic growth and often resulting in grievances that last for generations. Sexual violence, crime, exploitation and torture are also prevalent where there is conflict, or no rule of law, and countries must take measures to protect those who are most at risk.
The SDGs aim to significantly reduce all forms of violence, and work with governments and communities to end conflict and insecurity, promoting the rule of law and human rights are keys to this process, as is reducing the flow of illicit arms and strengthening the participation of developing countries in the institution of global governance.
United Peace Consulting (UPC) aim to align peace ambassadors passion with their purpose with social change and peace building along with global leaders while making living.
United Peace Consulting (UPC), 2020 project is to be implemented in Abuja, Nigeria by youth members, social scientists, and peace makers across Nigeria.
Using a multi-sector approach will help over 1 million people achieving sustainable development. While the main focus of the project is social change and peace building, it also help over 1 million vulnerability diversity their income by implementing a strong entrepreneurial and vocational skills development program, the project also promoting peaceful and inclusive societies for sustainable development, provide access to justice for all and build effective accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels.
Vision: To setting up a world level network of agencies through which every individual can benefit and contribute in development and social change and though achieve ultimate noble goal of world peace so that everyone need not set up different peace agencies and waste their precious time and resources.
Mission: To incorporate various opportunities for youth members, social scientists and also for peace makers across the world.
Goal: Building peace ambassadors across the globe for the United Consulting. We achieved this goal through: world peace building, promote universal moral values, good family life, better citizen, inter-religious cooperation, international harmony and establishment of peace and non- violence.
Objectives: The main objectives of United Peace Consulting are therefore to:
- Mobilize youth members, social scientists, and peace makers to take up greater responsibilities in identification of their peace problem through a centralized peace-building service delivery system.
- Provide guidance to youth members, social scientists and peace makers on self-identification of international available resources including participating in cost-sharing payment program.
- Develop youth members, social scientists and peace makers capacity for planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of peace-based activities and reflect these in the comprehensive council peace plan for funding.
- Promote integral approach in establishing United Peace Consulting intervention (taking on board other stakeholders).
Sustainability: Sustainability of United Peace Consulting will mainly depend on the degree of youth members, social scientists and peace makers participation, appropriate decision making and ownership. Fully developed peace ambassadors are able to identify own and external resources. The later resources are meant to complement the formal while focusing towards self-confidence. In implementing United Peace Consulting, inter-sectoral collaboration and approach should be encouraged to maximize resources utilization and therefore, outcome maximazation.
Organization: Effective and efficient implementation of United Peace Consulting (UPC) requires - peace ambassadors that have authority in decision making. United Peace Consultants (UPCs) must be strengthened to assure effective control and support of sustainable world peace building- initiated projects or activities. While responsibilities for implementing must be involved staffs, the later should have authority to make decisions on the use and control of resources.
