United For Black Lives

Throughout US history, many instances of violent racism have led to the tragic and unjust deaths of African- American people. My hope is to educate others on systematic racism and these terrible cases

Inspiration

The inspiration for my project was the amount of untold and unpublicized cases of the brutality and systematic racism toward African Americans.

What it does

My website has three separate pages, and on the home page, it has a generator of random cases of police brutality and racial violence. On the second page "Info", there is information on the steps to take to support the cause and where to further educate yourself as well. And on the last page is just more about the author of the website (me)!

How we built it

I hard-coded the website using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I used HTML for the words and headings and such and used CSS to design the format, colors, and images included as well. Afterward, I used JavaScript to make the Case Generator button and function.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

I'm most proud of the Case Generator button and completing the website mostly without any challenges.

What we learned

Throughout this process and research I learned more about racial violence and cases such. I also learned more about CSS as well.
