Inspiration

NFT was always an interesting technology. But with fragile problems to solve because it is easy to replicate the content.
GenAI takes a lot of my attention for the last few years. And I'm thinking about the amount of "spam" content because of GenAI.
I understood, that it's possible to join these technologies and solve the problems that we weren't able to solve before

What it does

Give people visibility about the uniqueness of the content and help to easily find out about the real owner of the content if it was stolen.

How we built it

AlephZero - we developed NFT contracts to prove the authenticity and ownership of the content at the moment. And we validated that we'll be able to integrate these NFTs with marketplace contract. We develop, deploy, and validate some images from marketplaces and our own that we can find similar images and know the "distance" to them. We created designs upfront and partially implemented the flow of our validation&minting solution.

Challenges we ran into

AlephZero contracts have complicated the development and lack of clear documentation. We had to work in 5, but 2 people didn't join us (and 1 was remote), so we didn't manage to do everything we planned initially.

Accomplishments that we're proud of

We prove (for ourselves, and get some positive feedback about it) that the concept is working and it worth continuing.

What we learned

AlephZero, even if it is complicated, but fits pretty well for our goals

What's next for UniqVerse

Finish our implementation, run the marketplace in testnet, scan the biggest NFT marketplaces to avoid duplicates from them, find artists and content creators, and based on their feedback go to the main-net deployment direction.
