Inspiration
We realised that there are so many apps out there committed to performing one function only, e.g. a simple meal planner, or a chore chart! We wanted to streamline this process and facilitate easy use for all students out there.
What it does
Helps university students plan their life in a more practical way.
How we built it
Using django framework in python and html and css for the front end. We used javascript as well.
Challenges we ran into
We had merge conflicts frequently when using github, so we had to manage these in order to complete our project successfully.
Accomplishments that we're proud of
The varied functionality of our web app is quite unique as not many applications out there do this many things in one place.
What we learned
We improved our collaboration skills and enjoyed learning how to work on our code in a team, using github.
What's next for UniPlanner
We plan to deploy this application in the foreseeable future and add even more features - be on the lookout for this...
