Inspiration: Our inspiration for UniPath Ontario stemmed from our own experiences navigating the complexities of choosing a university. We recognized that many students struggle with finding institutions that align with their academic interests and personal goals, especially within Ontario.

What It Does: UniPath Ontario is an interactive platform designed to provide personalized university recommendations based on students' fields of interest and estimated averages. By leveraging AI, it offers tailored insights to help students make informed decisions about their educational futures.

Challenges We Ran Into: One of the significant challenges we faced was ensuring the accuracy and relevance of the university data, as well as effectively implementing the AI API for generating recommendations. We also had to consider user experience to make the platform intuitive and engaging for our peers.

Accomplishments: We are proud of successfully integrating the AI technology into our platform and designing an appealing user interface. Additionally, receiving positive feedback from our peers about the usefulness of the recommendations was a significant milestone for us.

Next Steps: Moving forward, we plan to refine the AI algorithms to enhance the accuracy of recommendations. We also aim to expand the database of universities and their programs, as well as develop additional features like user feedback options and integration with application tracking tools.
